Connect-Auto delivers a new way to buy cars for SEAT

SEAT - the Barcelona-based car brand - has joined forces with Connect-Auto, a global leader in connected retail for automotive manufacturers and dealers, to create a new car buying experience

Buyers can go online to find their perfect car or use touch screen kiosks at SEAT’s first UK retail store at Intu Lakeside shopping centre to the East of London, England, thanks to the innovative ecommerce solutions provided by Connect-Auto.

Buyers can search and reserve available stock, value their current car, apply for finance and book a test drive – all at a time, place and pace that suits them. Their journey can start or continue in-store supported by SEAT product experts with them completing the purchase at their leisure, wherever they happen to be.

Research shows that this informal and technology led style of selling is particularly appealing to certain types of buyers and we look forward to seeing the results in the months ahead”.

The website and in-store touch screen optimised experience delivered for SEAT are part of a suite of connected retail and connected car based mobile apps and web applications available from ConnectAuto. These include retailer websites and stock locators, test drive acquisition and management tools, service booking platforms plus a new connected car app-based CRM platform.
